No-Le-Dge Hub

No-Le-Dge Hub is one of three student proposals to create spatial installations that enhance user experience on campus during Dhofar University’s Culture Week in Salalah, Oman. The pavilion is designed to symbolize a focal point that is perforated to pique curiosity and allow for thought exchange.

Together with year 2 students, Maryam Saeed explored a Concept-Computation-Completion Cycle, investigating smart geometry, form optimization, and creating an algorithmic sequence that would enable the pavilion to be laser cut and flat packed into shape by studio leaders, students and volunteers.

Algorithmic Aided Design Techniques, Speculative Design and Research Collaboration are at the heart of our research and practice at Siryali Studios. Maryam Saeed founder of Siryali introduced algorithmic aided design techniques to DU in 2022.
